Shurtan Gas Chemical Complex

Shurtan Gas Chemical Complex is situated in the south-west of Uzbekistan (Kashkadarya region, Guzar district), in the desert area of the Karshi steppe and constructed on the basis of Shurtan gas condensate fields.
SGCC is Unitary Branch Establishment of the Stock Company "Uzneftegasdobycha" of the National Holding Company "Uzbekneftegas".

At the beginning of 2005 with the help of Germany certification center TÜV CERT was successfully certified the implemented quality management system in accordance with requirements ISO 9001:2000, and got a corresponding certificate.

Quality control: The polymer production of Shurtan Gas Chemical Complex is certified by the environmental and hygienic certificates to prove the safety of using the polymers in production of household purpose units and the work pieces that contact with food.

In 2005 the implemented quality management system was successfully certified acting Quality Management System by certification center TÜV CERT in accordance with requirements of ISO 9001:2000.

Quality control is fulfilled by different modern methods in three stages: production process control, product quality analytical control and quality control system. This method allows all stages of production to be controlled beginning with the entrance of all kinds of feedstocks and chemicals and ending with selling of finished product.

Open Joint Stock company "Kazanorgsintez" is situated in Kazan, the capital if Tatarstan Republic, Russia. The industrial complex is situated in 15 km to the northwest from the centre of the city. Its site area is 420 ha. Number of employees – 8000.
"Kazanorgsintez" is one of the largest chemical companies of the Russian Federation. It produces more than 38% of the total Russian output of polyethylene and it is one of its major exporters.
